HANNAH FIEGER

Apprentice Funeral Director/Embalmer

Hannah joined the staff of Marshall Memorial Funeral Home in April of 2026 after having a growing interest in serving those who have lost their loved ones. She is eager to learn more about funeral services and intends to attend Jefferson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama to pursue her associate’s degree in Funeral Service Education. Hannah’s willingness to learn and serve makes her a key part of the staff.



She is a native and graduate Locust Fork High School in Locust Fork, Alabama and currently lives in Sardis with her husband Chad and daughter, Alana. Hannah also attends and serves at Bridge Church Boaz with her family and serves in numerous ministries within the church. 


LAINA NUGENT

Office Manager

Laina joined the staff of Marshall Memorial Funeral Home in April of 2026. She was raised in funeral service. Her father, Keith Gibbs, is an over 35-year veteran of the funeral industry. Her husband, Cody Nugent, has over 17 years of experience in the funeral service industry. So, she understands the dedication it takes to meet the needs of those who call on us. Laina brings her helpful, professional, and detailed oriented personality to the funeral home.



She is a native and graduate of West End High School located in Altoona, Alabama. She currently resides in Boaz with her husband, Cody, with their children Nolan and Liddie (who you will sometimes see around the funeral home). She is active in her church, Bridge Church Boaz, where she volunteers and serves in many roles. 


JAMES STUDDARD

Cemetery Superintedent

James joined the staff of Marshall Memorial Funeral Home in February of 2026 and

brings an in-depth understanding of property management and maintenance. As a

trained and experienced jeweler his attention to detail and ensuring every aspect is right can be seen throughout our extensive grounds.


He is a native of Norcross, Georgia and was living in Chelsea, Alabama when his firm

was hired to manage Marshall Memorial Gardens in Albertville, Crestview Cemetery in Guntersville, and Brookwood Cemetery in Arab. He is committed to honoring the

families that have trusted us with their loved ones by making sure the grounds are well kept and things run smoothly. He currently lives in Albertville.
