Virginia "Dale" Oliver

Mrs. Virginia “Dale” Oliver, age 67, of Albertville passed away Saturday night at Marshall Medical Center North with family by her side. She was born in Guntersville, Alabama to George Greely and Perla Gertrude Stapler Whitehead on May 20, 1951. The family will receive friends Wednesday night July 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home on Highway 205 in Albertville for visitation. Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Marshall Memory Gardens.

Dale leaves behind one daughter, Candy; one granddaughter, Jaylan Thomas; brothers: Herbert Whitehead (Sharon) and Richard Whitehead (Peggy); sisters: Paula Whitehead, Patti Whitehead, Carolyn Williams and Ann Williams; a longtime friend, John Armstrong as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Terry Whitehead, George Whitehead Jr. and Joe Whitehead and her grandson, Caleb Thomas.

She will lie in state from 10:00 am until start of service
