Tula was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Zora Epps; her brothers Max, Billy, Eugene and Albert and C.B. Epps; and her sister Nelda White and her son in law Dan Boatwright.

Mrs. Teal was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist for the last 61 years. She had a very strong faith in her God and showed it by living for him daily. She saw the good in everyone and everything.

She met her loving husband Max and they built a wonderful life together. She loved to sew and made her children Rhonda and Ronald clothes when they were young. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Tula was always doing something and tried to stay busy. She never relaxed, instead finding something that she could accomplish.

Tula is survived by her husband of nearly 63 years Max Teal; her daughter Rhonda Boatwright, her son Ronald Teal and his wife Janice; her grandchildren: Craig Borgestede; Erica May, Leah Teal, Rachel Davis, Brenna Boatwright; her great-grandchildren: Bailey May; Logan May; Evelyn May; Nathan Sanford; Ellie Sanford; Gabriel Griffin and Lakelynn Davis; and her brother Alvie Epps.

The family will hold a visitation at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home on Friday August 16th, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
