Sidney Wayne Wright

Sidney Wayne Wright age 85 of Albertville passed away Wednesday night January 28, 2015 at Shepherd's Cove Hospice of Marshall County surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of over 62 years, Carlos Ann Wright. He also leaves behind children: Mary Kay Smith, Samuel Wayne Wright, Dennis Dale Wright, Gayla Ann Ware and Michael Lee Wright; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Mr. Wright is also survived by a brother, David Wright and sisters Gail Ferguson, Penny McCord and Susan. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eva Harris Wright and children, Theresa Cyd Wright and Terry Todd Wright.
Mr. Wright was an Air Force Veteran and a retired Computer Analyst. He also worked as a School Crossing Guard for the Albertville City School System for many years.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the Chapel of Marshall Memorial Funeral Home at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Veteran's Section of Marshall Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until beginning of service on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Matt Kaminski, David Thompson, Terry Thompson, Jonathan Wright, Justin Wright and Nathan Bell.
