Sarah Joan "Betsy" Oliver

Mrs. Sarah Joan Oliver "Betsy" age 68 of Horton passed away Monday, March 25, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital Emergency Room. She is survived by her children: James (Mandie) Oliver of Guntersville, Kevin Oliver of Trussville, Tracy (Ray) Wilborn of Horton, Carrie (Matt) Pettit of Morehead City, NC, and Sarah (Shannon) Baugh of Albertville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, her brother Lynn Mitchell of Albertville and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Oliver was preceded in death by her parents R.O. and I.V. Mitchell and her husband Larry Oliver.
Visitation was held Thursday night 5 - 9 p.m.at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday March 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm at High Point Baptist Church with burial in adjoining cemetery. The body will lie in state from 9 am until start of service. Pallbearers are George Young, Nick Mitchell, Pete Jackson, Billy Wilborn, Donald Mitchell and Earl Mitchell. Officiating will be Brother Larry Camp, Brother Greg Stone and Brother Gene Lambert.
