Ruby J. Chaney

Mrs. Ruby Chaney, age 73, a resident of the Boaz Manor House passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Hospice of Marshall County's Shepherd's Cove. Mrs. Ruby was known and loved by any and all that knew her.
She leaves behind her husband, Charles Edward Chaney; children, Timmy and wife Darlene Chaney, David and wife Lori Chaney, Johnny Chaney and Donna and husband David Whitlock. She is also survived by grandchildren, Blake Chaney, Casey Chaney, Ashley Watts, Matt Boone and John Chaney and great grandchildren, Hunter Bowden and Braylon Nobblit. Mrs. Ruby leaves behind brothers, Larry (Jaylene) Nelson, Randal (June) Nelson, Thomas (Robin) Nelson and Eddie (Gena) Nelson and sister Betty (Johnny) Bales.
Mrs. Chaney was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Bertha Cagle Nelson and sister and brother-in-law, Frances (Otis) Nipper and sister Robbie Henderson.

Visitation will be Sunday night from 5-8 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Monday at 2 pm in the chapel with Brother, Lamar Tidmore officiating. Mrs. Chaney will lie in state from 11 until the start of service on Monday. Burial will follow in Marshall Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Blake Chaney,Casey Chaney, Matt Boone, Colin Stanfield, John Chaney and Mike Little. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hunter Bowden and Braylon Nobblit.
