Ronald Colvin Brooks

Ronald Colvin Brooks, 74, passed away in Tuscaloosa on Friday, September 22nd, 2023.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Ann Poe, parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Ronald was born and raised in Talladega, AL before he attended the University of Alabama where he received 2 degrees.  He was self-employed and owned Falkville Congregate Healthcare in Falkville.

In his spare time, Ronald loved golfing, hiking and fishing.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending time in nature.

His grandkids held a special place in his heart and could always convince him to do things with them.  Spending time with him was one of the special times in his life.

On the weekends or at night, you could find him singing Elvis at Karoke, being the life of the party.

Ronald is survived by his daughter: Amy and Charles Tillery; his grandchildren: Kelby and Savannah Alexander; Gracie Alexander and Kaden Alexander; his great-child Nora June; his sisters Geraldine Simpkins and Janice Hope and a host of nieces and nephews.
