Mildred Jeanne (Lashley) Eubanks

March 9, 1938 — December 13, 2021

Albertville

Mildred Jeanne Eubanks, 83, passed away early Monday morning on December 13th, 2021, surrounded by her loving daughter.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021, at Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband Lucius Eubanks; her parents William Esau and Tressie Lashley; her brother Wayne Lashley and her sister Laverne Card.

Jeanne was born in Andersonville GA.  She met her loving husband Lucius on a double-blind date.  Lucius and Jeanne moved around living in 3 different states where Lucius could find work, before finally settling in Alabama.

She was an avid gardener and when Lucius was alive, they built birdhouses.  She loved to craft and sew and was known to create beautiful treasures for her family.  She loved her flowers, but her favorite thing was becoming a grandmother.  She loved her grandchildren, and they quickly became the focus of her later years.

Jeanne is survived by her children; Belinda Jordan and her husband Chuck; Lucius Riley Eubanks Jr. and his wife Leeann; Laurie Eubanks; Gina Wain and her husband Phillip and Cara Whitt and her husband Matthew; 9 grandchildren and her brothers Louie Lashley and his wife Ellen; and Kelma Lashley and his wife Linda.

Special thanks to the hospice family from Shepard’s Cove.
