Mary Robbins

Mary Helen Robbins was born September 20, 1923. She was raised on a small farm in Alabama by her parents James and Bertie Gosdin. She was preceeded in death by her siblings Inez, Inita, Tommy, Max,and Clovis. Nearing the end of World War II she decided to leave the farm and be among the first females to serve in the United States Marine Corp. On November 27, 1945 Mary married her husband of 47 years Isham David Robbins. She prodley raised three children Jeannine Kay, Janet Kathryn, and Michael David Robbins.
In 1992 after her husband past away she decided to move to Maryland. Mary loved to read, sew, shop, and attend all Bible studies possible.
Mary had seven grandchildren and and eight great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held in Mary Robbins honor on Saturday February 12, 2011 at 1pm in the Marshall Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
