Mary Lewis Kelley

Mary Lewis Kelley, 89 of Guntersville, passed away Thursday August 1st, 2019 at Marshall Manor Nursing Home in Guntersville. Services will be held at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home in Albertville with burial immediately following at Pleasant Hill No 2 Baptist Church on August 3rd, 2019 at 1:00 pm.  Brother Hal Mahan will officiate.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband James T Kelley; her sons Donnie Joe Kelley and Larry Wayne Kelley; her parents Robert and Hattie Lewis and several brothers and sisters.

Mary was a lifelong resident of Guntersville who attended school in Marshall County.  After school she married James T Kelley and they had 2 sons.  Mary worked at Guntersville Cleaners and Wayne’s in addition to making a loving home for her husband and 2 sons.

In her later years, she enjoyed doing puzzles and was an excellent seamstress.  She was always quilting and sewing beautiful pieces for her family.

Mrs. Kelley is survived by her grandson Brandon Kelley (Honey) of Cullman, her granddaughter Stephanie Duke (Chris) of Georgia; and great-grandchildren Nolan Kelley, Elanor Kelley, Hayden Duke and Bentley Duke.

Pallbearers will be John Kelley, Kenny Kelley, Wesley Lewis, Jeff Crandall, Jonathan Eubanks and Phillip Cornelius.  Honorary Pallbearers are Bentley Duke, Nolan Kelley and Matthew Kelley.

Family will receive visitors August 3rd, 2019 from 11 am- 1 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
