Lue E Bell

October 16, 1929 — April 8, 2018

Mrs. Lue Weaver Bell age 88 of Albertville passed away early Sunday morning at Marshall Medical Center South with family around her. She was born October 16, 1929 in Oklahoma. She was a homemaker for most of her life but was the babysitter for her friends in her home for a number of years. Those same children still call her grandmother today and she loved them as her own. Lue leaves behind her children, Jimmy (Perry) Bell and Tammy (Max) Talton; grandchildren, Tracy (Shannon) Brooks, Joanna Lusk, Amie Bell, Nikki (Dusty) Thomas, Clint (Amy Jo) Talton and Bronson (Mollie) Talton; great grandchildren, Phebe Brooks, Darrian Brooks, Dylan Horton, Becca Thomas, Tucker Thomas, Audrey Thomas, Simeon Talton, Lyla Holliday and Nora Bell Talton; great great grandchildren, Zaida Brooks and Teigan Brooks and two she called her grandchildren as well, Matthew Anderson and Sara Newman.

Mrs. Bell was preceded in death her loving husband of more than 50 years, James Bell, a son Larry Bell, her mother, Ethel Weaver Cobb as well as two sisters Etta Mae Matthews and Annie Fullerton.

The family will receive friends Monday night, April 9, 2018 at the funeral home from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will begin at noon on Tuesday with burial to follow in Marshall Memory Gardens, Mrs. Bell will lie in state from 11 until start of service. Brother, Mike Johnson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Clint Talton, Bronson Talton, Matthew Anderson, Dusty Thomas, Tim Talton and Alan Cranford.
