Katie Louise Turner

Katie Louise Turner, 94, passed away in Huntsville on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023, at Windsor House in Huntsville.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Marshall Memory Gardens.

Katie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Turner, her parents Charles Henry and Bertha Harmon and her son Kenneth Irvin.

Katie was a member of the Eastern Star organization, where she was an active member who enjoyed working faithfully by helping with community events.  She also loved helping with the financial needs of families experiencing difficulties.

She was a member of Gilliam Springs Baptist Church in Arab, where she faithfully paid her tithe each week.

She loved camping, traveling, and going to the beach.  She was a housewife who raised her boys and helped keep the home running.

Katie is survived by her son Charles and his wife Pamela, her grandchildren Matthew Irvin and Sarah Irvin, and numerous friends and family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 am until the start of the service.
