Junior Lee Edmonds, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 31st, 2020 at Crossville Health and Rehab. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
Junior was preceded in death by his sons Rodney Edmonds and Ricky Edmonds, his parents Clarence and Lela Edmonds and his brothers Gene, Charles, and Benny Edmonds.
Junior was born in the Albertville area and attended school until he had to help his family on the farm. He was a construction worker who worked on the Sears Tower in Chicago and multiple skyscrapers in Atlanta.
He was a member of the Masons and Shriners in Alabama where he served his community for many years. It was a personal connection for Junior, his son Ricky benefitted from the Shriners and he wanted to pay things forward.
Junior attended Albertville United Methodist and actively served in his church. He went on 2 different mission trips in Honduras, which was one of his greatest accomplishments in life.
He is survived by his loving daughters: Lisa Lesley and her husband Joran Jimenez; Selena Rushing and her husband Tadd; Sonya Edmonds and Donna Blume; grandchildren Heath Lesley, Linsey Gant, Ronnie Lesley, Ethan Brothers, Rachel McCullars, Shannon Lesley, Derek Rushing and Kasey Brothers; 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the start of the service Saturday January 9th, 2021.
