Juanita Hazel Phillips

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at  12 noon , at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home for Juanita Phillips, age 91, of  Albertville, AL, who died on Thursday Jan 17, 2019. Clergy, Chris Wiseman will officiate. Burial will follow at Marshall Memorial Gardens. Marshall Memorial Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.

Juanita was born in and grew up in Geraldine, AL but made Albertville, AL her home early on. She worked at Gold Kist and Wayne Farms for over 35 years. She was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother to her family and a wonderful friend to many through her life. She had a long life and saw much change in this world. She was feisty to the end, is with her Heavenly Father and will be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by: Mother- Florene McWhorter, Father- Horace McWhorter, 2 infant children, Granddaughter- Rita Chamblee Walker, Grandson-Brian Earl Chamblee, Brother- Eugene McWhorter

She is survived by: Son- Larry CD Chamblee, Daughter-Patricia Phillips Cook, Grandson-Larry Wayne Chamblee, Grandson-Taylor Christian Kniphfer, Grandson-Parker Harrison Kniphfer, Granddaughter-Hannah McKenzie Kniphfer, Great Grandson-Brian Wayne Chamblee, Great Granddaughter-Jordan Elaine McGuire   , Great Great grandson-Garrett Wayne Chamblee, Great Great Granddaughter-Avery Elaine Benefield, Brother-Bobby Ray McWhorter and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers are: Wayne Chamblee, Brian Chamblee, Taylor Kniphfer, Parker Kniphfer, Jordon Cook, Joshua Cook

Special thanks to: The  family and friends who came to visit her while she was in our home,  in hospital and at the Village of Cook Springs. Most importantly to the nurses, doctors  and wonderful God given men and women of The Village of Cook Springs, Cornerstone and Alacare Hospice for caring for and loving her at the end.
