Joshua Blake Romine

Joshua Blake Romine, 32, of Boaz passed away early Sunday July 11th, 2021, at Marshall Medical Center South.  Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 13th, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home with David Pratt officiating.

Joshua was preceded in death by his stepfather David Burks, his grandfather Dewey Romine, and his great uncle Holland Lang.

Joshua was born and raised in the Marshall County area where he attended the Guntersville and Albertville school system until his mother home schooled him.

Joshua was loved cartoons, comic books, action figure dolls, football, baseball, and he loved music.  His favorite music styles were country and 70s or 80s music.  He could be found listening to music all night.

Joshua is survived by his mother Tammy Pursley; his father Joe McDowell; his brother Jamie Pursley; his grandmother Roverta Romine; his sister Kristy Pierce, his aunt Debra Brown; cousins Jason (Ashley) and Russell (Katie) Brown and special friends Phyllis and Samuel Rains.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the start of the service on Tuesday.
