John Jackson Garrett

John Jackson Garrett, 51, passed away Friday February 28th, 2020 at Huntsville Hospital after a short illness.   His parents were by his side.  Funeral Services will be held Monday March 2nd, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.  Pastor Keith Langner and Brandon Love will officiate.  Burial will follow afterwards at Marshall Memory Gardens.

John was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe and Ada Jackson, and Bo and Roberta Conley.

John was born and raised in Guntersville, where he attended the Guntersville school system.  He was a familiar figure in Guntersville due to his walking around town and eating at the Huddle House.  He was loved by everyone that knew him because of his loving and fun personality.

One of John’s favorite activities was making friends with cats.  Cats were naturally drawn to him and most of the time, if you saw John, he was with one of his cats.

John is survived by his parents Danny and Charlotte Conley, and his younger brother Eric Conley.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.
