Joey Michael Floyd

Joey Michael Floyd, 45, passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 26th, 2023.    Joey was born on December 23rd, 1977, to Johnny and Sandra Floyd.

He was a graduate of Douglas High School and McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University.  Joey will be remembered for his free spirit and love of the outdoors.

He is survived by his son Foster Floyd; his father Johnny Floyd; his sister and brother-in-law Rachel and Harold Kowalsky; his grandmother Willene Carnes; his nephews Alex and Will Kowalsky and a host of extended family members and friends.

In lieu of a memorial service, Joey requested that he be remembered for his adventurous spirit and that his ashes be spread over Black Canyon of the Gunnison.
