Jeffery "Shane" Cheshire

Jeffery Shane Cheshire, 54, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on January 5th, 2024.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 8th, 2024, with Nella Stone officiating.

Shane was preceded in death by his wife Michelle Harris and his father Joe Johnson Cheshire Sr.

Shane was an easygoing social person who enjoyed being around others and entertaining them.  He was the life of the party and usually could be found with a circle of others around him.  He was a loving person who would do anything for anybody, but everyone knew not to make him mad!

He was loyal and dependable to his family and friends; he enjoyed doing jobs that were hands on and was quick to take something apart and fix it.   He was very patient with others and a kindhearted person who treated everyone as a friend.  Shane never met a stranger.

He loved being outdoors and could be found fishing or riding motorcycles in his spare time.

Shane is survived by his mother Martha Hubble (Andray); his brother Joe Johnson Cheshire Jr (Jennifer); stepbrother Jason Lance Hubble (BJ); 16 1st cousins; 25 2nd cousins 9 3rd cousins and a host of nieces and nephews and a slew of aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm on Monday until the start of the service.
