"Jay Bird" Donald Geckles

Mr. Donald Keith Geckles, "Jay Bird" to all who knew him, passed away at his son's home surrounded by family Sunday night January 28th. He was born to Jimmy C. and Sarah Ann Franks Geckles in Alabama on August 1, 1957, he was 60 years young. Donald leaves behind his children, Josh (April) Geckles and Jana Geckles; his mother Sarah; brothers, Jimmy Wayne Geckles, Anthony (Tina) Geckles and Craig Geckles; sisters, Sheila Mohon (Cody), Rhonda Bohanon (Clayton), Lisa Geckles (Charlie Bigsby) and DeAnn Brawley (Sandy); close friend and loving mother of his children, Jody Mullen as well as a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and loads of friends. Donald was preceded in death by his dad.

The family will have a Memorial Service Wednesday night, January 31, 2018 beginning at 5 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. All friends are invited to attend.
