James David Brown

James David Brown, 81, of Albertville passed away on Sunday, March 9th, 2025, at Sheperd’s Cove with his loving family by his side. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, at 2:00 pm with Brother Alvin Martin officiating. Military Honors will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

David was preceded in death by his loving wife Claudette Brown; his son Michael Brown; his parents Robert and Goldie Brown; and his siblings Bobby Brown; Pat Lawson and Gene Brown.

David was one of the sweetest, kindest people that you would ever meet. He became friends with everyone because of his generous and loving nature. Once you met David, you had a friend for life. He was well known in the community and surrounding areas because of his personality. If you knew David, he would give you the shirt off his back in a time of need.

He was a huge Alabama fan and loved watching his team play on Saturday’s. He also enjoyed watching his great-grandchildren play sports and made sure to attend as many games as possible.

He loved John Deer tractors, and Chevrolet cars and trucks.

David served his country in Vietnam in the Air Force.

David is survived by his grandson Brock Brown and his wife Kristen; his great-grandchildren: Paisley Brown; Emmaline Brown and Colton Brown; his sisters Kathy Lambert and Joan Jones.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the start of the service.
