Grover Cleveland Worth, Jr.

Mr. Grover Worth Jr. age 86 of Guntersville passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Shepherds Cove Hospice of Marshall County surrounded by his family.

Grover was born on February 19, 1929 in Georgia to Grover Worth Sr and Lonnie Terry Worth. He retired from the Internal Revenue Service to have the rewarding job of just being a Grandpa and he was good at it.

He leaves behind his loving wife of over 61 years, Jean Terry Worth; children: John Terry Worth (Sandra), Barbara Anne Bain (Joe), Nancy Elizabeth Forrester (Ray) and Robert David Worth (Julie); grandchildren: Laura Anne Berry (John), Phillip Ray Forrester, Sarah Worth, Kathryn Shafei (Erfon), Anna Barnes (Levi), Will Forrester, John David Worth and Claire Worth; one great granddaughter, Allie Forrester; and a sister Jean Stone. Grover is preceded in death by his parents, Grover Cleveland Worth, Sr and Lonnie Terry Worth; sisters, Nell (Ralph) Jernigan and Colleen (Francis) Rains and a brother in law Billy Stone.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 Sunday, November 29th at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 with the Rev. Bill Millican and Charles Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in Marshall Memory Gardens
