Goldie Grindle

Goldie Marie Grindle, 85, passed away at her home in Boaz on August 14th, 2024. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday August 18th, 2024 at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Nellon Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Marshall Memorial Mausoleum.

Goldie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Grindle, her daughter Joyce Marie Satterfield and her son Robert E Lee Grindle Jr; her parents Jessie and Lorene Pannell; her brothers William Pannell and Roger Dale Pannell; her sisters Jewel Carolyn (Polly) Holiday and Patricia Ann Millican.

Goldie was the sweetest and most wonderful mother in the world. Her children and sibling cant think of anything that she did wrong or anything that she said to hurt someone. She loved her church and made sure that her siblings attended church with her.

She was the greatest woman who was loving, caring, kind and precious. She loved flowers and enjoyed going to the mountains.

Goldie is survived by her daughters Christy Grindle and Tammy Smith; her brother Nathan Pannell; her sisters Ruby Faye Jenkins and Peggy Diane Benefield and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
