George E Hibbs

Mr. George Edward Hibbs of Boaz, Alabama, was born on November 11th, 1937, and passed away at home with family at his side on February 7th, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, R.E. and Pearl Hibbs. Mr. Hibbs was a Navy veteran, and owned his own auto body shop, Hibb's Body Shop. Survivors include, his loving wife of 60 years, Sue Hibbs; his daughter, Sheila Golden; granddaughters, Amanda (Jeremy) Slaton, Jessica (Elliot) Glass, and Amber Golden. George is also survived by great grandchildren, Carson, Hayden, Mya, Isaac, Ian, Mason, and Addison. Visitation for Mr. Hibbs will be Saturday, February 10th, 2018, from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. with funeral service immediately following in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. Brother Whitt Hibbs will officiate. Honorary Pallbearers will be Elliot Glass, Jeremy Slaton, Carson Glass, Mason Golden, Roger Hibbs, and Ricky Glassco.
