Charles "Charlie" Cornelius

Mr. Charles "Charlie" Cornelius of Guntersville passed away Sunday morning at Huntsville Hospital, he was 83 years old. Charlie enjoyed spending time at the coffee shop with his friends. He leaves behind his loving wife, Frances Todd Cornelius; children: Lee (Phyllis) Cornelius, Chris (Lacey) Cornelius and Susie Perkins; grandchildren: Jeremy Perkins, Noel Turner, Kimberly Cornelius and Ann Bradlee Cornelius; great grandchildren: Garrett Perkins, Natalie Perkins and Blayde Perkins. Mr. Cornelius is also survived by his brother, Ray Cornelius and a sister Carolyn (Donald) Lang. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eulin T and Ada Belle Cornelius.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from noon until 1pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will begin at 1 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2016 in the chapel with Brother Charles Watkins and Brother Joel Samuels officiating. Burial will follow in Marshall Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mike Lang, Greg Lang, Micha Todd, Garrett Perkins, Noel Turner and Tommy Lang. Honorary pallbearers will be Ruben Todd, Matt Todd and Jeremy Perkins.
