Antoinette "Toni" Doris Kron

July 1, 1929 — July 26, 2017

Antoinette D. "Toni" Fisher Kron was born July 1, 1929 in Wellman, Iowa, the daughter of Leona Neis and Earl Lester Fisher. She married Kenneth Kron on March 14, 1949 in the First Methodist Church in Riverside, Iowa. They came to Guntersville Alabama in 1983.

Toni was involved within her church as a Sunday school teacher, deacon and circle leader. She was a member of the Iowa Foster Home Association for a number of years, opening her home to over 21 foster children. She served 2 years as Secretary and 2 years as President for a pilot project of Families Incorporated which served 12 southeastern counties of Iowa aiding dysfunctional families. Toni served as PTA Secretary and President. She is a member of First United Methodist Church, VFW Auxiliary, Pilots Club and an active volunteer for Hospice of Marshall County as long as her health permitted.

She enjoyed bridge and loved to design and make quilts, winning many rewards. She wrote an autobiography which documented more than 390 quilts she has made. She is honored in Who is Who in American Quilting and has won state and national awards. Her autobiography is in both the Kalona Quilt Museum and the archives of the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY along with her award winning quilt. Important to her: God, home and country.

Her survivors include: Children, Edward Jensen (Elaine), Marsha Kron Nichols (Robert), Robert Kron and Larry Kron; Grandchildren, Jarrod Nichols (Jennifer), Geneva Douville (Chris), Lindsay Doeden (Mark), Lawrence Jensen, Lee Kron (Alissa), Seth Jensen (Laura), Andy Kron (April), Josh Kron, Ben Kron (Heather) and Dalton Kron; Great Grandchildren, Kendall Douville, Neva Doeden, Natalie Kron, Drew Jensen, Frederik Doeden, Kylie Kron, Dylan Jensen, Lincoln Kron, Tara Kron, Alex Kron, Tinley Kron, Haley Kron & Cooper Kron; Sisters, Charlotte Pattan and Helen Bickel; Brother-in-law, Lee Greimann. Toni is preceded in death by, Parents, Earl & Leona Fisher; husband of over 67 years, Kenneth Kron; children, Karma Kay Kron and Allen Dale Kron; brothers and Sisters, Marlene Greimann, Duane Fisher, Marlyn Fisher; brother-in-law, Claude Bickel; great grand- daughter, Marin Anne Douville.

The family welcomes friends to celebrate her going home with them on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 10 am Graveside at Marshall Memory Gardens. Lula Dobbs will officiate. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Guntersville or Hospice of Marshall County.
