Annette Bankston Allen, 71, of Albertville passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023, at her home with her loving family by her side. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 19th, 2023 at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Don Corbin officiating.
Annette was preceded in death by the love of her life Bronny Allen, and her parents Oscar and Ruth Bankston.
Annette was born and raised in Albertville, where she attended the Albertville school system. She married her adoring husband Bronny and they had a wonderful life filled with laughter and fun until his death in 2020. They had 2 children who they both adored Tina and Brian.
Mrs. Allen loved her flowers and her garden. She had a green thumb and each year her yard was a beautiful floral display for her family. She was a strong independent woman who raised her kids with love and taught them strength and independence. She always had a clean organized house because she loved to have things organized and in their place.
Annette’s favorite activity was sitting in her sun room drinking a cup of coffee. She could be found there most days relaxing and looking at her beautiful flower garden.
Annette is survived by her children: daughter Tina Wills and her husband Scott; son Brian Allen and his wife Donna; her grandchildren Lauren Rosson and her husband Chad, Gavin Allen and girlfriend Jessica, Kerigan Bradley and her husband Alex, Maggie Allen and her boyfriend Blake, Mallory Wills and her boyfriend Conner and Jonathan Wills; her great-grandchildren Aurora Bradley and Ander Rosen and a host of brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 19th at 1:00 pm until the start of the service at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
