Aaron Gerald Mcclendon

Aaron G McClendon, 75, passed away at his home in Albertville on May 14th, 2024.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm graveside on Saturday, May 18th, 2024, with Brother Steven Swords officiating.

Mr. McClendon was born on January 5th, 1949, to the late L.B. and Vergie McClendon of Guntersville, AL.  He graduated from MCHS in 1967 and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force.  After serving his country, Mr. McClendon went onto get his BS degree in Business Administration from Athens State University.  He retired from the U.S. Army’s Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal, in Alabama.  After retirement, he enjoyed fishing and working in his yard.

Aaron is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Pamela McClendon; brother Gary Von McClendon and his wife Lita; sisters Sherry Ann Patterson and her husband Mike; Kathy Denise Brown and her husband Robert and Virginia Kay Sterling and her husband Dale and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the start of the service on Saturday.
