Mary Earlene Dennis

Mary Earlene Traylor Dennis, 81 passed away August 6, 2023, at her Guntersville home. She would have been 82 on her birthday September 9. Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Joey Cannady, Kerry Harbison and Kelvin Harbison officiating.  A burial will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Earlene worked at County Extension Service for 32 years. She loved making crafts, cards, writing stories from her childhood and spending time with her family. She is Survived by her daughter Teresa Stewart (Tommy) of Guntersville, a granddaughter Amberly Baugh (Kyle) of Albertville and a Grandson Brandon Stewart of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She has 2 great grandchildren Lainey Baugh and Judd Baugh and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.

Earlene was born into a family of 10 children. Her father was a farmer and a pastor. The late L.A. Traylor and Edna Traylor. Her siblings include LaRhue Harbison (Kenneth), Gene Traylor (Betty), Dorothy Kennamer (Paul), Arley Traylor and James Traylor. She is preceded in death by Ed Traylor, Wayne Traylor, Jessie Snider, and Ricky Traylor.

She would have celebrated 60 years with her husband Ray who died in 2014. They were a Christian couple that was a Godly example of husband and wife. She will be greatly missed but we know she is in her eternal heavenly home now.

The family has requested in Lieu of flowers Donations can be made to Golden Rule Preschool at Solitude Baptist Church in Albertville, American Cancer Society and St. Jude’s.

The family will receive friends from noon until the start of the service.
