Charles Bernard Moore

Charles Bernard Moore, 81, passed away on Saturday, February 10th, 2024.  Marshall Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.  Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, with Brother Joey Cannady officiating.  Burial will follow in Marshall Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be:  Tyler Cravens, Adam Cravens, Shane Teal, Lucas Moore, Ben Grimes and Mark Ogle.

Bernard was preceded in death by his devoted wife Charlotte Moore and his parents Orien and Minnie Moore.

Mr. Moore loved old cars.  He could be found working on old cars and restoring them, so he could take his antique cars to car shows.  He loved his grandkids and great-grandkids and enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could.

Bernard loved the Alabama Crimson Tide.  He was a loyal fan and he could always be found watching Alabama play football on Saturdays.  His nickname was “Bear” after the legendary Paul “Bear” Bryant.

Bernard is survived by his adoring daughters:  Kelly Ogle and her husband Mark and Stephanie Beadle; his grandchildren:  Tyler Cravens (Stephanie); Charae Moore (Lucas); Adam Cravens (Elyse); Emily Benson (Eric); and Kayleigh Grimes (Ben); great-grandchildren:  Easton and Emma Moore; Raelyn and Adler Cravens and Brooks and Emilia Benson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday night from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Marshall Memorial Funeral Home.
